Features of our Drive-In
Film spooler is used to off-load film from the 20 minute
segment reels they are shipped on. The film is spliced into one piece,
then run from the spooler through the projector and back to the spooler
where it is once again loaded onto the original reels and returned to the
distributor after its run.

![]() Here are pictures of our Century Projector. This is an oldie but goodie, the standard of Drive-Ins everywhere. The bulb is good for several hundred hours, and costs several hundred dollars to replace. It runs at several hundred degrees F. and would melt the film if not for the cooling unit in the foreground. Note the huge exhaust going through the ceiling to accommodate the tremendous heat generated by the bulb.
