The Bright Leaf Drive-In Theater wishes you the best possible
experience while visiting. In order to better accommodate all our
patrons, there are a few simple "rules of etiquette" which when followed
will enhance each viewer's experience:
-
No outside food or drink--please
understand that we are only able to keep this piece of history open by
our concession sales! *You will be charged a $5.00 food charge for
outside food.*
- Please park in the designated areas for the vehicle
you are driving--blue
poles are for cars,
orange capped poles
are for SMALL SUVs and Trucks/Crossover vehicles, and the
red poles
are for full size trucks/vans/SUVs. *Please note if you park in the
wrong place, you will be asked to move to the proper area and we cannot
guarantee a "good" parking place once moved*
- Hatches must be lowered to the height of your vehicle
prior to showtime.
-
Two vehicles are
to park between each set of poles--please park as close to one of the
poles as possible. Therefore, lawn chairs and blankets are to be
placed in front of your vehicle, out of the roadway, and not beside of
your vehicle. *If these items are placed BESIDE your vehicle, you will
be asked to move them.*
- Due to safety, do not leave children
unattended--there are always vehicles in motion, so please pay close
attention to where your children are at all times. *Do not send them to
the concession stand alone, it is dark during movie time.*
- No rain checks or refunds due to weather--unless
power is lost.
- Entry is at your own risk--we are not responsible for
accidents or damage to your vehicles or belongings.
- We are not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.
-
PLEASE place trash
in the proper areas--trashcans are available at the front of the screen,
in front of the concession stand, and at the exit at the box office.
- Pets are allowed on leashes--but please clean up
after them and do not bring them inside the concession stand.
- To hear the movie, tune your radio to
91.1FM.
If your radio does not work, please plan ahead of time and bring a
portable radio or come early enough to park close to the concession
stand. We do broadcast the movie on speakers at the concession
stand--There
are NO speaker poles.
- Movie time is 9:15, gates open at 7:15--please come
at least 10 minutes prior to movie time, so not to disturb others while
entering. Use parking lights during entry.
